Dobson is very encouraging but what’s even more encouraging is;

John Tonelli for HOF !

Islanders are getting a lot of practice time this week, can’t wait to see the results.

Sooo… Klingberg has asked for a trade.

He’d be cheaper than Chychrun.

What would it cost for Klingberg? He is making 4.250 Mil and he is a ufa after this season? If the Isles are interested why not wait til end of season when it would cost them only money?

Does he solidify the needs of the team and fulfill top 4 d?

Yeah he does. This is a bit more realistic to me then Churchwhateverhisnameis. I can’t understand why the coyotes would get rid of him unless he’s telling them he wants out. Klingberg is actually saying exactly that. The problem I have with all of these the isles trading for a defenseman rumors is we all know Lou/Trotz aren’t sitting Chara(who has honestly been much better imo) no matter how he plays. Pulock doesn’t seem far off. Where does X player fit in?

There’s a write up about exactly this on eyesonisles if anyone is looking for a good laugh. Not sure which is worse the bloggers or the posters. Good chuckle as far as the trade proposals for Chychrun on their thread. I won’t divulge too much for those that want a laugh but I will say they involve Bailey

Devon Towes having himself a nice season… 7g-17a for 24pts in 21games… Also averaging 25min of ice time… 1 guy I bet Lou regrets moving on from…

The Isles, and other teams, had games postponed with Canadian teams. But the Leafs played in Colorado last night. I thought teams weren’t supposed to cross the border. How they hell does Toronto cross the border to play? Do the rules not apply to them? They just get to do whatever they hell they want? I’m confused as to how they played here, but no other Canadian team can.

There are no such border crossing restrictions.

Then why were several Isles games against Canadian teams canceled? And other American trans has games postponed against Canadian teams. Just odd to me.

Nhl postponed some games where the government has removed spectators due to surging Covid cases. NHL needs the ticket revenue.

The league cannot hold a double standard any longer. The Devils should be forced to play with AHL players as the Isles were in the very beginning. This is ridiculous that the Islanders are now forced to wait over 2 weeks to play.

This not conducive to the Islanders. The league needs to wake up.
